Movie Screening: “Hidden Figures”

In collaboration with the 🇫🇷 French, 🇩🇪 German and 🇮🇹 Italian embassies, as well as The George Washington University, Children's National Research Institute at Children's National Hospital will be celebrating the Week of Women and Girls in Science February 6-11.

🎥 As part of this week-long event, CNRI will be hosting a free screening of the 2017 Academy Award-nominated film “Hidden Figures” (Rated PG, 2 hrs) on Wednesday, February 8, at 5 PM for K-12 students and their families.

👩‍🔬 Following the film, attendees will have the opportunity to hear from a group of inspiring female scientists from our community. Panelists will discuss how they first became interested in science and the many different paths a scientific career can take, as well as answer questions from the audience.

📍 The movie will be shown at the Children’s National Research & Innovation Campus theater, located at 7144 13th Pl NW. The event begins at 5 PM- please RSVP via Eventbrite as space is limited.

➡ We are glad to highlight that the event is free, and parking is available free of charge at the venue.

Please contact Colby Rymes (crymes@childrensnational.org) with any questions.

We are looking forward to meeting you!
