Embassy of Switzerland: Social Design Thinking Competition

[🇨🇭 Forwarding]: On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the Embassy of Switzerland in the United States of America is pleased to launch a Social Design Thinking Competition for female university & college students in the D.C. metro-area.

➡ You bring us the problem… Switzerland 🇨🇭 will work with you to design a solution.
 
On Friday, March 31 2023, the Embassy is hosting a creative Design Thinking workshop with selected young women from D.C.-area universities and colleges.

🌐 Ahead of the workshop, we will ask students to identify a challenge at their school related to at least one of the following UN Sustainable Development Goals:

#3 - Good Health and Well-Being; 
#4 - Quality Education; 
#5 - Gender Equality.

Using the Design Thinking method, we will coach students to create a solution at an in-person workshop. They will then have the opportunity to pitch their ideas to a Swiss jury of experts and win seed funding.
